One of the questions I get asked the most is how to date a Vera Neumann scarf. It’s not an exact science, but there are clues in the signature.
I believe this scarf is ‘s retro. It has the signature and the copyright symbol, as well as the famous lady bug symbol. This scarf is the epitome of Vera scarves because it uses the butterfly, one of her favorite themes. The scarf uses white, orange, green and yellow to form a design featuring butterflies. The edges are hand rolled and sewn. The tag is attached and says “scarves by Vera all silk-handrolled made in Japan”.
